| "chuu" means "medium" or "in between". It is called " chuuya-obi" because the width of this obi is in between "hanhaba-obi" and other obis.
| "chuu" means day and "ya" means night. This Obi is made by two different fabrics and reversible.
| "han" means half and "haba" means width. This is a half width obi compared with others. It does not require obiage & obijime. Easy obi.
| "natsu" means summer. natsu obi is worn from june to september.
